He completed elementary school at Asuoyeboah Metropolitan Academy School in 1998 and had his secondary education at Kumasi Secondary Technical School which is located at Patasi. He studied visual arts as a course with specialisation in textiles, graphic design, sculpture and general knowledge in art. By 2001 he had sailed through this course with flying colours. Samuel entered into tertiary education in the year 2003. He was admitted into a top university in Ghana known as the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). At the university he chose integrated rural art and industry as a degree program which comprised textiles, clay, leather, metal, wood, rattan, bamboo and computer graphics. To prove his versatility Samuel took painting as a hobby and is now one of the best painters in Ghana meeting the international standard. He creates abstract, realistic and super-realistic works. His main mediums of choice are canvas and paper and his favourite applications are acrylic and water colour.Samuels' inspirations are from proverbs, wise sayings, daily activities and dreams. He uses warm and cool colours wonderfully together to harness vim, vigour and vitality; his brush’s name is PROPHASK and his motto is “The Land of Colours.” One must agree that Samuel is a self thought painter. He has also been known to use straw and other natural objects to create pictorial scenes. Samuel does not believe that he was taught art in school, but further developed the gift given to him at birth. He began by scribing on the ground, leaves and wall surfaces and now God has brought him this far. His aspiration is to become one of the most wonderful painters the world has ever seen. He also wants to create his own world that would be named THE LAND OF COLOURS. Gallery: Prophask
